A very heavy piece which has limited usefulness. Good for leavening and cooking frozen dinner rolls.
The bottom reads "Made in China".
Some of ones ones made today are cheaply made and not as nice as this one (if that means anything).

2000 Ableskiver (Æbleskiver) Pan
Weight : 6 lbs. 7.4 oz.
A collection of images from an unusual cast iron piece called an Aebleskiver (appleskives) pan. The name literally means apple slices in Danish. A beloved treat in their native Denmark, ebelskivers are light, puffy pancakes that can be filled with fruit, chocolate, jam or cheese. The interior is rough, but very well seasoned. Made in China sometime around the year 2000.
The flash from the camera makes the pan look brighter than it normally does. You can zoom in on the images if you mouse over them. During autoplay zoom is disabled. Shrinking the browser window will shrink its contents possibly making it easier to view the gallery.
Valued in the range of $10-$15.
